The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., will be raffling off a one-of-a-kind, exclusive Dale Earnhardt Series 2003 Z06 Corvette with a June 30 drawing. The Corvette is made by the 968 UAW members of Local 2164 at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green. The Z06 features Dale Earnhardt series signature modifications courtesy of Dale Earnhardt Inc. Tickets on this fully loaded Corvette are $25 each. The winner need not be present to win.
Another Vette — solid gold in color — will be raffled off June 29, with only 2,003 tickets sold at $200 each.
The raffles are part of the museum’s celebration of the Corvette’s 50th anniversary, June 25-30.
Local 2164 President Tim Robinson says, “Around 50,000 people tour our plant each year, so anytime there’s a big event we’re excited. We’ve proven the last two years with the JD Power Best in Segment Award, where we beat out Porsche, BMW and Mercedes, that our members care about what they’re doing.”
