PRB is there to protect your rights

UAW members have the right of an independent review of actions by elected officials and official bodies of the union, and alleged violations of the UAW ethical codes.

The review is conducted by the Public Review Board (PRB), created in 1957 when delegates to the 16th UAW Constitutional Convention overwhelmingly approved an amendment which became Article 32 of the International Constitution.

PRB members are independent of the UAW, and the board’s decisions are binding.
The UAW was the first union to establish an independent board of appeals to safeguard the democratic rights of its members.

Members of the PRB are nationally recognized experts in ethics, labor law and labor-management relations.
