The story on page 12 in the March 2001 issue of Solidarity entitled: “We will protect rights of DaimlerChrysler members” should have said that laid off members who are entitled to Supplemental Unemployment Benefits (SUB) are entitled to 95 percent of after-tax pay minus $25 per week for work-related transportation and meal costs. Workers who are laid off are eligible for up to 25 months of health care continuation.
