UAW members rally for health care

Members of the National Writers Union, UAW Local 1981, and active and retired members of UAW Local 1590 from the General Motors Service Parts Operation in Martinsburg, W.Va., joined in a a rally for health care for all on June 25 in the nation’s capital.

The UAW members were among more than 7,000 people from across the United States, most of them union members, who marched, rallied and lobbied for better health care for all Americans, including more than 45 million uninsured Americans, nine million of them children
