Local 602

Chartered January 18, 1939, this is the local that brought the UAW to Lansing, Mich. The 3,100 active members build the Pontiac Grand Am, the Oldsmobile Alero and the Malibu Classic at the General Motors Fisher Body plant. Local 602 also includes more than 3,00 retiree members.
