UAW statement on tentative agreement with GM's former parts supplier

The following statement is attributable to UAW President Ron Gettelfinger and UAW Vice President Cal Rapson:

"The UAW finalized an understanding with General Motors earlier today that has resulted in a tentative agreement with their former parts operations. Details are being withheld based on explanation and ratification meetings by our local unions."
