UAW Region 1: Chuck Hall
“I’ve seen so much – it’s like I’ve lived two lifetimes. But everything has happened for a purpose. I just hope someone was motivated by something I said. I just work hard, believe in the cause and like helping people.”

UAW Region 1A: Rory Gamble
“Today we are more unified and more progressive. We are ready to fight together. Now let’s get on with the next four years.”

UAW Region 1C: Norwood Jewell
“I am very humbled and, yet, excited that the delegates of Region 1C have faith in me to be the director of our great region. Region 1C has a rich tradition in leadership, and I am proud to have the opportunity to join the ranks of such great leaders as Stan Marshall, Ruben Burks, Cal Rapson, Bob Roth and Duane Zuckschwerdt. I pledge to the membership to do my best and make them proud.”

UAW Region 1D: Gerald Kariem
“I commit to do my best to be the leader we need in 1D and uphold the pride we have. We will continue to strive to keep pride in our region, train our members, maintain integrity and make progress."

UAW Region 2B: Ken Lortz
“I feel humbled and excited. What an honor. During these tough times, we need to work as a team – a great team!”

UAW Region 3: Maurice “Mo” Davison
“I am honored and humbled to be re-elected as your director of Region 3. I will not let you down.”

UAW Region 4: Ron McInroy
“There are tough times out there. Leadership needs to stand up, face the problems and help the membership. Region 4 is looking promising and seeing more leads in the agriculture sector.”

UAW Region 5: Jim Wells
“It is a great honor to represent the membership of our great union, especially the members of Region 5. I'm excited and energized to be a part of Bob King's Mobilization for Justice Team. I want to thank you for making Region 5 No. 1 in UAW V-CAP contributions for many, many years. We are continuing the fight for NUMMI workers against Toyota.”

UAW Region 8: Gary Casteel

“I am both honored and humbled to be elected to a third term as director of Region 8.  Downsizing in the domestic automotive industry has hit our region hard. However, at the same time we have seen a number of the transplants locate to the region, and over the past eight years we have won a number of organizing victories. So, we have momentum – both politically and in our movement. We have to maintain this momentum and build on it.”

UAW Region 9: Scott Adams
“There is no greater honor than to represent this great membership. You can't do this unless you have the support of the membership and staff, and I thank you for that. (UAW vice president-elect) Joe Ashton kept this region together. Now, it's under my watch.”

UAW Region 9A: Julie Kushner

“We have so many challenges in front of us as a union, but I know that with those challenges will come tremendous opportunities. I believe we will see a resurgence of organizing and coalition building, and our union will be even stronger than it is today. There is a long tradition of progressive union building in our region, and I commit to carrying on that tradition.”
