UAW 2007 National Negotiating Team at Chrysler

This is the UAW’s national negotiating team whose efforts — along with assistance from the UAW Chrysler Department and other UAW office, technical and professional staff — led to a tentative agreement between the UAW and the Chrysler Corp.

Ron Gettelfinger is president of the International Union, UAW.

General Holiefield is vice president and director of the UAW Chrysler Department.

Garry Mason is executive administrative assistant to Gettelfinger.

Dave Curson is director of UAW special projects.

Jim Coakley is top administrative assistant to Holiefield.

John Byers is administrative assistant to Holiefield.

Tim Bressler, John Stallings, Keith Mickens and Gary Kimbel are assistant directors.

Coordinators are Derek Thiery, Virdell King, Maurice Mitchell, Susan Crabtree, Jeff Monroe, Phyllis Johnson, Delbert Nelson and Todd Penn.

Marlene Holiefield is coordinator of UAW Chrysler Legal Services.

Dan Sherrick is UAW general counsel.

Chuck Gayney is director of UAW Social Security.

Tim McClain is director of the UAW Occupational Health and Safety Department.

Linda Ewing is director of the UAW Research Department.

Bill Parker, of Local 1700, Sterling Heights, Mich., is chair of the UAW Chrysler National Negotiating Committee and represents Subcouncil 1 (assembly in-state).

Lew Moye, Local 110, St. Louis, Mo., is committee vice chair, Subcouncil 1 (assembly out-state).

Robert Mitchell, Local 51, Detroit, is committee recording secretary, Subcouncil 4 (skilled trades).

Other members are

George Welitschinsky, Local 624, East Syracuse, N.Y., Subcouncil 3 (engine & axle);
