WASHINGTON -- More than 1,000 active and retired UAW members will gather here from Jan. 17-20 for the union's National Community Action Program (CAP) Legislative Conference.
The conference will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel at 2660 Woodley Road, N.W., in Washington.
UAW delegates from across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico will discuss the union's legislative and political priorities for the coming year, meet with members of Congress to advocate on behalf of working families and prepare for the union's 2012 electoral campaign.
UAW President Bob King will deliver the keynote address on Jan. 17 at 6:15 p.m.
