Media Advisory: UAW Town Hall with John Conyers

DETROIT - UAW Region 1A Director Rory L. Gamble and Congressman John Conyers are sponsoring a town hall on the nuts and bolts of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  There has been so much misinformation and politicizing of the law, many citizens are not sure what the law can do.

The town hall, "Affordable Health CareLlaw: What’s in it for Me?," will provide an opportunity to ask questions and get answers. Come and learn how the law affects your health care quality, costs and coverage. You'll learn how your health care dollars will make sense.

Speakers: Congressman John Conyers and Dr. James Young, chief executive officer, Concordant Healthcare Solutions, and author of "The Baby Boomer Health Care Consumer."

The event is Sunday, Aug. 5, from 4 to 6 p,m,, at the UAW Region 1A VOTE Center, located at 17575 Livernois, near Santa Clara. Admission is free.
