A statewide "Nuns on the Bus" tour (above) was cheered on in city after city as supporters of Michigan's Proposal 2 gathered for rallies in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint and Detroit. Speakers composed of nurses, firefighters, auto workers and various politicians addressed the crowd about the benefits of Proposal 2 which would be added to the constitution to assure the collective bargaining rights of workers.
